The Bureau de la sécurité privée (BSP) is doing everything in its power to mitigate the impacts of the Canada Post labour dispute on its clients. Please find below the measures implemented to assist you.
PROOF OF THE VALIDITY OF YOUR LICENCE
The Register of Licence Holders, available on our website, serves as the official proof of the validity of your BSP licence.
FILING A LICENCE APPLICATION
Agent
- Use the interactive forms to file your regular or temporary licence application
- If you are already a licence holder, you may file a digital version of your application through the service of My Account in the File deposit section.
Agency
- Use the Accès Agence Portal to complete all your requests with the BSP, except for the change of representative.
- For a change of representative, please write to info@bspquebec.ca to obtain the required form and a secure deposit link.
ANNIVERSARY PAYMENT
Agent
Payment can be made directly through the service of My Account with your financial institution or by contacting our information department..

Use the Accès Agence Portal to complete your anniversary and proceed with the payment.

RENEWAL
Agent
Renewal notices are sent more than 90 days before the expiry of your licence. If your licence expires in less than 90 days and you still have not recevied your renewal form, plesase contact our information department.

TO OBTAIN YOUR LICENCE
If you have received an email confirming that a new licence has been issued to you since the labour dispute began at Canada Post on November 15th 2024, you may come to our offices to obtain a physical copy of your licence.
LICENCE REVOCATION
If your licence has been revoked or has expired, we encourage you to wait until Canada Post resumes its operation before returning it to us.
You may also come to our offices to drop it off.
ADMINISTRATIVE COMMUNICATIONS
Due to the labour dispute, administrative communications usually sent by Canada Post are temporarily suspended. They will be sent as soon as postal services resume to normal.
