Important notes concerning the fee schedule
In accordance with the Regulation under the Private Security Act, all fees are adjusted annually on January 1st in accordance with the rate of increase of the general Consumer Price Index for Canada.
Your enterprise must hold a licence for each class of private security services that it offers. Licence fees must be paid for each class. However, agencies will be charged security verification fees only once per person.
Refunds
Under no circumstances will security verification fees be refunded.
Licence fees will be refunded only for one-half if an agency licence is not issued or renewed.
