1- ABOUT THE PORTAL
The Accès Agence portal is a new service offered to agencies by the BSP: it is your online agency file!
It allows an applicant to complete a new agency licence application and the representative to modify the agency’s file, complete the annual declaration, pay the applicable fees, view the information on file or submit documents such as the surety bond or the certificate of insurance.
The portal guides the representative according to the various characteristics of the enterprise, which makes the portal easier to use. In addition, processing an application through the Accès Agence portal is faster.
2- ACCESS THE PORTAL
Easy to use, the secure portal is accessible exclusively to the agency representative.
To log in, the representative must create a user profile using the email address on the agency representative’s file submitted to the BSP and confirm its creation by following the link sent by email.
The agency representative will then receive a welcoming email to the Accès Agence portal.
Note: If after a few minutes, the representative has not received the confirmation email, he should check the spam folder.
The representative will then be able to access the Accès Agence portal and use this personalized space for the agency for which he is the representative. The portal offers step by step guidance and indicates what information to send based on your request.
3- NAVIGATE ON THE PORTAL
You will find the different features offered by the portal by using the vertical menu found on the left side of the screen. By clicking on the desired menu option, you will be able to access it and complete the application by following the instructions.
4- PROCESSING OF AN APPLICATION
After proceeding with the payment of the new agency licence application, you should allow for some processing time. To find out the status of your application, you can check the “AGENCY APPLICATIONS” tab in the portal menu.
NO. Only those with a valid licence are permitted to engage in private security activities. Therefore, you must wait for your enterprise’s licence to be issued in the appropriate class, if applicable, before offering private security activities, or you risk criminal sanctions, i.e., fines
In such a case, you must contact an Information Service Officer by e-mail at DossierBsp@bspquebec.ca or by calling 514 748-7480 or the toll-free line at 1 877 748-7483

6- HELP AND SUPPORT
Whether you are an applicant or an agency licence holder, the BSP provides users with a guide to help them through this process.
- User Guide – Agency licence holder
- User Guide – New applicant
When submitting an application on the portal, instructions are given for every step to simplify its completion. Therefore, if all the elements required in this step are not provided, you will be unable to access the next step until the missing fields are filled in. In which case, an error message will tell you the missing information.
Attention: During the stages of a new licence application, the appointment of the agency’s representative is confirmed. An automated email will be sent (to the selected address, depending on the information entered and the agency’s structure) and it will be up to the recipient to confirm the identity of the representative so that the applicant may access the following steps of the application.
The browsers supported for the Accès Agence portal are Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge.
