As a member of one of Canada's largest asset protection teams, you'll be on the front lines protecting our store and ensuring a safe and enjoyable shopping experience for everyone. Your tasks: Being a Guardian: Deter, detect, and apprehend theft and fraud, protecting our products and profits. Investigate and analyze: Conduct thorough internal investigations, analyze evidence, and collaborate with law enforcement to resolve incidents of theft and fraud. Be an expert in loss prevention: Identify loss opportunities and collaborate with store teams to implement innovative security strategies. Being part of the team: Collaborate with other asset protection representatives and store management to maintain a safe and compliant environment. Embracing the unexpected: Work a flexible schedule that keeps you on your toes and ready for anything. Skills needed: Strong Skills: Valid provincial security guard licence, knowledge of relevant legislation (Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act), and knowledge of closed-circuit camera and surveillance systems. Technology Competence: Proficiency in Windows applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Interpersonal skills: Professional, friendly and approachable attitude with excellent communication skills.
