SECURITY AGENT (Construction)

Schedule: 30-40 hours / week - Monday to Saturday
Duration of the contract: 12-18 months
Salary: $22.00 / hour (depending on qualifications and experience)

Located in a construction site inside the building, the security safety agent must ensure that all construction subcontractors must comply with construction safety measures. This includes conducting site assessments to determine risks, potential hazards and controls, risk assessments and hazard control measures.

Specifically, the security officer will:
ASP: Conducting site assessments to determine risks, hazards, and controls.
BSP: The surveillance or protection of persons, property, or places primarily for the purpose of crime prevention and law enforcement.

• Control access to the establishment and maintain order
• Ensure that anyone entering carries and follows the instructions against Covid-19
• Keep an access log of contractors entering the building
• The officer must make a final tour of the building and make sure that everything is closed and crossed out
• Prevent theft and vandalism
• Follow the security and emergency procedures issued by the security of the establishment
• Know how to respond to fire alarms
• Provide a report at the end of the day

Requirements
1) Education: Secondary 5 (DES) completed.
2) Experience in the field: 1-2 years.
3) Date of hire: Immediately
4) Spoken and written languages: French, English an asset
5) Other: IMPORTANT Hold BSP cards (required)
6) Other: IMPORTANT Hold ASP certificate (required)
7) First Aid: CNESST Certificate
