Description :

Job Duties:

  • Analyze and assess current security equipment, protocol and processes
  • Identify safety and security breaches, threats and dangers
  • Elaborate and plan the security policies related to the security equipment, emergency plans, protocols and tactical intervention techniques
  • Ensure that the safety and emergency procedures are followed
  • Supervise security personnel and subcontractors

o   Coordinate security personnel on various properties

o   Coordinate subcontractors rendering services on properties or during external events

o   Establish work schedules – as needed – and security protocols

  • Train and coach security personnel on safety protocols and tactical intervention techniques
  • Accompany and protect high value targets during their travels

o   Supervise and coordinate external security personnel as it relates to the protection of high value targets, including local security companies and local police, as needed

o   Respond and intervene to any security threat on the high value targets

o   Prepare reports elaborating the threats, protocols and escape plans related to the security of the high value targets

o   Train high value targets on basic self-defense techniques

  • Manage and operate the security equipment and telecommunications installed to ensure continued security of the premises

o   Identify the possible security threats and dangers related to said equipment

o   Suggest installation and operation of new equipment – as needed

 

Skills Requirements:

The selected candidate will have to meet all the following requirements:

  • More than eight (8) years of experience as a security guard
  • More than three (3) years of experience operating as an undercover security agent
  • More than two (2) years of experience in protecting high value targets (e.g. politicians, renowned actors, musicians or business people, etc.)
  • Experience in managing security teams and bodyguards
  • Experience in planning and managing security plans and itineraries for high value targets
  • Completion of a course or training in crowd management
  • Completion of a course or training in undercover security and techniques
  • Completion of a course or training in self defense techniques
  • Hold a First aid and/or CPR valid certification

 

Terms of Employment:

This offer of employment is for a permanent position with a full-time schedule (35 hours per week).

 

The work schedule may vary and require that the candidate remains available during the evening to ensure the security during events and social gatherings.

 

Location(s) of Work:

The employment location will be at 520-759 Square Victoria, Montréal, Québec H2Y 2J7. However, the candidate will be required to spend significant time working outside of Montreal in Charlevoix, Montérégie, other parts of Canada and internationally as needed for security matters.

 

Remuneration:

The salary offered will be between 39,000 $CAD and 42,000 $CAD based on the experience and skills of the candidate selected.
